This is the 22nd year of this fabulous Salute! event. This year, we will sell 500 tickets to this event and include up to 13 venues. Participants register and pick up a souvenir wineglass, map and tote bag then begin their Mosey down Mass Street, stopping in participating venues to sample fine wines, other spirits and compatible hors d’oeuvres. As with all Salute! activities, Mosey participants must be 21 years of age.
When: July 23, 2026 from 5-8pm Where (Mosey Area): up to 12 venues on Mass St. in Downtown Lawrence.
Ticket Price: $60.00 includes souvenir wine glass, wine, food, and program/map.

We are excited to announce Whitney VinZant, the owner of George Vineyard in Sonoma Valley will be the speaker at the Winemaker Dinner.
Whitney founded VinZant Wines and Pairing Wine Co., using the grapes grown from George Vineyard and made by esteemed winemakers Adam Lee and Moret Brealynn. With roots in Kansas City, Whitney became passionate about wine as a sommelier and restaurateur and is also the CEO of W.VinZant Restaurants that owns and operates restaurants in Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Iowa.
The Salute! Winemaker Dinner promises a delightful night of outstanding wines and a beautifully crafted multi‑course meal.

Grand Tasting & Auctions
Salute! Grand Tasting & Auctions offers participants a unique opportunity to sample over 200 wines and spirits and enjoy sampling cuisine from area restaurants and caterers. Throughout the evening, attendees curiously browse and bid an impressive silent auction. The grand finale of Salute! is a live auction filled with rare and fine wine lots.
